About me

Hi! My name is Meru Sharma.

I am a lawyer in Sydney, working in maritime and transport law. When I am not working as a lawyer, I like to think broadly about topics like:

  1. what will the ethics and morality of the future look like;
  2. what will the politics of the future look like. Related to this: what are the problems of the future;
  3. mindset and consciousness of future humans and how technological developments (in areas such as AI, nuclear energy, nanotech, neura links, genetics/biology, space travel etc) will affect human thinking in the future (what we think about + how we think);
  4. success and money. Specifically, what attracts money and how do people attract money. How can money be manifested, i.e how can we manifest something from nothing. What does it take to hold money (as opposed to just generate money). What does it take to achieve success and how is success manifested;
  5. emotions and dealing with emotions. Related to this: addictions and buddhism.
  6. self development. Tangentially related to this: astrology and tarot;
  7. legal development and regulations on tech;
  8. current culture and current milieu. What does the immediate culture tell us about ourselves and where we are going. How is the culture changing – is it for better or worse and, in fact, how is “better” or “worse” determined. In other words, cultural commentary;
  9. …. and other things.

In this blog, I write about some of these issues, my opinions on them and my learnings. The blog is a means of self-discovery: I am discovering my own opinions and thoughts as I write them on this blog. So, the reader will find that some of my thoughts are inconsistent, illogical, and incomplete. However, the blog is a ‘live’ entity and I will try to address these issues as I find them.

Happy reading!

Regards….

M
